Still, trying to avoid reviewing parks, but this is a place where I spend a lot of time. With that said, it's pretty close to the optimal park for everyone. I'm not sure there is a single thing to complain about. This park merges a very tourist friendly area with a local connection. It has its own dedicated bus stop, so getting there is always easy for people that live outside of walking distance. From the park you can see all the Insurgentes tourist traps like Fat Burger, still hit up street vendors, and see a good mix of local business people. The park has a great environment, providing gazebo areas where classes are taught, a kid's playground, plyo metric workout machines, running circuit, and plenty of space for dogs. It's probably the nicest vibe in the neighborhood. Mixed in with everything else are ruins from the Aztecs, a couple of fountains and monuments, and a giant clock that never works. 😉 There's not much more to say... Great Park.

Parque hundido is a wonderful place to visit. The clock at the center of the park has fountains that come on every 15 minutes. Stay to hear the bells every hour sharp. You might catch a play in the theater depends on the time you arrive and day, usually on Sundays around 1pm and 3pm is when they have them more often. Enjoy a Nieve ir a Chicharrón. The Microbus takes you here and back from Glorieta Insurgentes, worth the trip through Insurgentes. #LoboCDMX

Great for picnics, leisure jogging and dog walking. There is a small outdoor theater for public concerts, plays, children's puppet theater, etc. and a paid restroom area. There's a large playground, but beware of the sheer amount of children running around during the weekends. Best to go during weekdays, a lot less crowded. AVOID being here when it's late and dark outside at all costs. Since it's a sunken park, muggers abound as soon as the sun goes down. Otherwise, very safe, green, and pleasant. Bring change for the parking meters, snacks, ice cream, cheap bubblemakers, etc (ambulatory salesemen). A few tables for outdoor chess & checkers; draw the pieces, no board necessary. Dogs and fearless...
