I am an equestrian and was really excited to visit this museum. It was absolutely wonderful! They had so many beautiful saddles and artifacts. Things were presented in English and Spanish. The man who let us in was so kind to also walk around with us and try to teach us things. Even though he didn’t speak much English, and we didn’t speak much Spanish, we really appreciated his effort. He also offered to take some pictures of us as well. If you’re a horse lover you MUST...

Fascinating exhibition of the history of 'Charro' (Mexico's cowboys and girls) in Mexico. Set in a monastery the museum contains saddles, arms and the suits worn by the Charros and Charras. We were very lucky to get a personal tour of the museum by the curator Humberto whose passion for his exhibits is palpable. Worth noting that you need to ring the bell to be admitted as they are short staffed. !00%...
