FAKE Google Reviews here. Things that gone wrong:
When we arrived they didn’t greet us and we served ourselves to a table which was not cleaned. They didn’t bother to clean it either. Had to call the server to order the food and she kept walking away to gossip with other workers while taking the order was a bit annoying. Ordered a beer and additional paid option on her menu but instead served me a different beer and some random drink I didn’t order, started to get a little agitated but left it as is and drank the beer I didn’t order because my food didn’t come out yet as I don’t want some mystery meat. When one of the food arrived, there was no server to be found so we grabbed our own salsa from another table, didn’t know I work there now. My hamburger arrived but when the server left in a rush almost throwing throwing the wooden plate on the table and left, the top bun of burger and the tomato literally fell down by itself to the table so I decided to just eat whatever that didn’t touch the dirty table that they never cleaned. Went to use their bathroom, there is no fan inside and it’s very dirty. The whole place looks like someone’s nightmare, does not look sanitized and the floor is very sticky including the tables and chairs. Had enough just wanted pay and left so walked up the cashier and this server had the audacity to tip herself which we refused because this the worst restaurant experience in Mexico period.
I had better service in the local mercado than this overrated overpriced tipdemanding unsanitary nothing special of a place to...
Read moreMeh. Servers were indifferent and apathetic. We were excited to try the paella based on reviews and were happy to see it was a weekend only item and we arrived on a Sunday, but were told they didn’t have it. Then there was a rush to choose something different because the kitchen was closing in ten minutes (at 9:30) even though the restaurant is open until 11.
The food was fine. A ton of cheese on both the querida and enchiladas suiza made it heavier than it needed to be. My husband ordered the Vodka Rickey from the menu but the waiter had no idea what it was. He showed him it on the menu and he said, Oh the Vodka Tonic Rickey,” even though the menu read vodka tonic OR Rickey. When it came it was just a vodka tonic with flat tonic. I ordered the margarita and was disappointed to find it was frozen but I didn’t specify on the rocks and wasn’t asked so that’s partly my own fault.
When we finished our drinks they were taken without an offer for another round. I asked for two glasses of water at the start and never received them.
No one was rude and we did get one or two smiles out of our waiter near the end but there was really no hospitality going on. The music was too loud for my liking but had an interesting blend of genres.
It came to more than it was worth, $600 pesos/$30 USD, but we were full even if not fulfilled. We would not return...
No volveremos. Profeco debería de...
