I went there for the Last Mole Comic Con 2018. It was a large event. Accessing the event was fast. It seemed well organized. I saw lots of artists, games and toys. I did not see many cosplayers. There were models taking pictures with people but the vast majority had costumes bought not made. There was a Killer Instincts competition on Xbox. The vintage batmobile was there as well.

🌆 World Trade Center Mexico City – Review

Rating: ★★★★☆ (4.5/5) Category: Business Complex, Convention Center, Observation Deck, Dining

🏢 Overview

The World Trade Center Mexico City (WTC Ciudad de México) is a modern, multi-purpose complex located in the Nápoles neighborhood. It’s a well-known landmark in the capital featuring office spaces, a shopping center, a rotating restaurant, exhibition halls, and a convention center.

✅ What’s Great

Iconic Tower: The 50-story tower includes corporate offices, observation areas, and the famous 45th-floor revolving restaurant Bellini—the largest of its kind in the world.

Convention Center: Clean, spacious, and well-managed for hosting corporate events, expos, and public fairs.

Accessibility: Located right by the Poliforum Metrobús station, making it easy to reach from anywhere in the city.

Safety & Cleanliness: Visitors often praise the area for being well-secured and clean, with accessible restrooms and plenty of parking space.

Dining Experience: Bellini offers a unique 360° city view while dining. While the food might not be extraordinary, the overall experience is worth it.

⚠️ Things to Keep in Mind

Crowds: Can get very busy during peak hours or major events, so plan your visit accordingly.

Food Options Inside: A bit pricey—consider exploring nearby fondas or local eateries for budget-friendly and flavorful meals.

Not a Tourist Hotspot: While great for business or casual dining, it’s not a full-day tourist attraction.

🍽️ Nearby Food Recommendations

Fonda Doña Blanca – Traditional Mexican meals at a good price.

Papa Guapa, Sukiyaki, Nagaoka – Options for casual or Japanese dining.

Reddit users also mention good botanas (snacks) and carne asada in nearby cantinas.

🎨 Cultural Highlight

Don’t miss the adjacent Polyforum Cultural Siqueiros, home to “La Marcha de la Humanidad”—the world’s largest mural by David Alfaro Siqueiros. It’s a visual and emotional journey through humanity’s struggles and hopes.

🚇 Transportation Tips

Closest station: Poliforum (Metrobús Line 1)

Easy ride from major areas like Observatorio or Insurgentes Sur

Taxis and Uber also widely available.

💬 Final Thoughts

Whether you’re attending a conference, having dinner with a view, or exploring local architecture and culture, the WTC Mexico City is a solid choice. It blends business efficiency with cultural richness in a safe, organized environment.

Things that are good here: -Bellinis, if you have $100 USD to spend on a dinner for two and like Italian food, or the bar above of you don't. The views are some of the best in Mexico City.

Things that are okay here: -The expo halls. They're not always easy to find (it seems like the building layout was designed by someone on crack) -The movie theater. It's as nice as your average theater in Mexico, that is, if you can find it among all the laberinthine passages inside the building. -Sears, if you like your every move to be followed by a sales rep. -The other restaurants, if you're into standard US chain fare.

Things that suck here -Parking/traffic. If you value your sanity, do NOT try to take a car here during rush our, and never try to park around the WTC. -Lines for expos / tickets. It's like the idea of having more than one person at the ticket office is a foreign to them as...

Interesting place to visit in Mexico City there are lots of restaurants, also a shopping center and other stores and business offices. It is well connected and communicated one can arrive by bus, by taxi or driving. There is plenty of parking space. There is a nive restaurant at the top of this building which is interesting experience as the full floor rotates 360° so night view the city is iquite nice.

I have to mention that there is also this big exhibition spot which makes that area quite crowded specially at peak hours and that could even be stuck in traffic even for long.

I would suggest to visit Polyforum Cultural Siquerios, its mural is just amazing and very...
