Nice park with LOTS of trees and paved trails, park is fairly well lit at night and landscape is well maintained. Good place to explore nature (bug spray is recommended). Park seems really safe and people are really nice. Running and walking on paved trails can be challenging due to hills. Trails can also be challenging due to quality of the trails and may hard on knees/ankles. North of Alfonso Reyes is adult exercise equipment stations. There is a walking bridge that crosses Alfonso Reyes to the south side of the park which is a little flatter and more for kids. Has a really nice kids playground complete with multiple slides/swings/merri-go-round/ and monkey bars. Park is really clean but beware of occasionally dog poop. But Majority of dog walkers clean up after themselves.
