Es un lugar práctico en la ciudad para disfrutar la vista del río, los murales, juegos para los niños, hacer ejercicio, tomar fotografías, pasear, pescar y demás cosas que ofrece el lugar. El área es segura, así como en la noche la iluminación es muy buena, por lo cual se siente aún tranquilo a esas horas. Recomiendo tener precaución con acercarse al río, ya que lo normal es la fuerza de la corriente, así como los lagartos en el lugar, los cuales he llegado a presenciar.

Un buen lugar en la ciudad para salir a caminar y convivir con la familia, es un lugar muy tranquilo, justo en la frontera del país, lo delimita el río bravo incluso desde ahí se ve Estados Unidos al otro lado del río, el municipio realiza algunos eventos como la feria del Nacho, también el 4 de Julio puedes observar desde ahí los juegos artificiales del vecino país, generalmente está limpio y es seguro, hay lugar para estacionar tu vehículo sin costo.

Es un buen lugar para caminar solo o acompañado, aunque desde mi punto de vista esta muy desaprovechado ya que le falta un poco más imaginación para ser atractivo al público. No hay juegos para niños muy pequeños y los pocos que ya estan ahí se ven algo deteriorados, además de que no se permite el acceso a bicicletas, patinetas o cualquier otra cosa que se le parezca en ese lugar. Así que me pregunto cuál es el propósito de "lugar recreativo"
