Shelby Park — Attraction in Eagle Pass

I came here in January 2024. the park was blocked off, due to illegals coming across the Mexican boarder.

Heard a lot of mixed opinions of the boarder, so I drove the 4 hours to see for myself that the board was in fact secure.

Military was inside the gated fence. I could see the metal containers at the rivers edge. It was secure. And peaceful. I was the only civilian there. There was literally a flea market across the street. So it was business as usual.

The town of Eagle Pass is actually a small little town....

Currently under state control so currently can’t give an honest opinion this place probably was better off before them my family has had events there but...
