U.S. Customs and Border Protection - Eagle Pass Port of Entry — Local services in Eagle Pass

Ridiculous I had to pay $4 to EXIT the US. I am US citizen, I live in the US, I pay my taxes, why do I have to pay if I’m exiting my country? I could understand that Eagle Pass city is charging to visitors coming to the city because they will be using the city services and road, but we were NOT coming to Eagle Pass, we are LEAVING Eagle pass, just passing by, going to Mexico. In any case, Mexico should be charging the $4 dollars for entrance. I asked to the woman in the booth who was collecting the $4 and she was very rude, like I should know. I had to pay another $1.50 when I was leaving Mexico and going back to the US. I gladly did it because I do not live in Mexico and I was visiting Piedras Negras, I was a foreigner using the public services and roads, and I don’t pay taxes in Mexico. Shame on you Eagle Pass...

The people we delt with were nice but we crossed with my husbands visa and we didnt know they needed to fill out a sheet with his A and DOS number. Años que he cruzado por ese puente y es el predilecto al escoger ir a Estados Unidos, consta de un sólo carril y distintos puntos de entrada lo cual hace más rápido su cruce, incluso de manera peatonal se cuenta con facilidad de ingreso. La atención de los agentes es buena, si es necesario hacer un trámite o toca revisión explican cualquier duda que se tenga y agradecen el apoyo que se da. Un detalle es que me gustaría que sólo cruzaran por este puente las personas que tienen su pasaporte, green card o visa en tarjeta, ya que para eso está diseñada la ready line que hay en aduana para agilizar los cruces, ya que en ocasiones la gente saca su certificado de nacimiento como identificación, que entiendo es su país y no les negarán la entrada, pero si sería mejor que sacaran el pasaporte.
