The beach has been accessible only by walking from the northern beaches since 1998. This used to be my favorite childhood spot in the late 1980's. Back then it used to be a camping site managed by the locals from Chemuyil. They had clean services available for families. I have the fondest memories from this place. It breaks my heart to see how these natural beauties are not preserved for the sake of some foreign company profiting from our nature. However, don't feel discouraged to visit. Even if in the area there is a new hotel, there is no such thing as a private beach legally speaking. Read moreActually thought this beach was called xcacet beach. However its a fantastic beach if you like unspoilt nature and quiet with the sound of the sea.
Its a turtle sanctury so please respect it if you go. Its open 10am to 4pm. There are make shift shelters made of palm trees, get there early to get the best one. The entry fee is 80 pesos each but worth it to help the turtles.
