Amazing beach... about 40 min collectivo drive (35 pesos). Go early for a quiet beach. Though it stayed quiet all day, compared to Playa del Carmon. We were charged 80 pesos to enter beach at the end of the rd that advertised 'glamping' on the sign on 307. We had access to bathrooms and showers. The restaurant wanted us have a 1500 pesos tab to use their lounge chairs. Even without using lounge chairs it's a great beach with clean white sand & even a few fishes to see if you have a snorkel and mask. A short collectivo drive from Cenote Azul... we were charged 20 pesos from there. Maybe enter the beach from the rd to the east... it may be a free entrance. Same beach with less restaurants. Bring an umbrella (so much sun) and your own drinks or food. There is a gas station with basic snacks on the 307 a 2 min. walk from the 'Live Dreams'/Glamping Xpuha rd. Collectivos stop on their way drom Tulum to give a ride back to...

A very very recommended beach, more like a ‘bahía’, the waves are very calm more like a pool, and there was no zargazo when we where there. There are some beach clubs that are a bit expensive but there is also a public area, you just have to pay for the parking place.. or if you come with a colectivo you have to walk from the highway to the beach area. In the public space, you can bring your umbrella, drinks, music box and just enjoy, on weekends is more crowded. The beach was clean, really lovely day we spent there. You can also eat in the beach clubs if you like... All in all, is a much mor beautiful and relaxing beach than the one in Playa del Carmen. If you go please don't leave garbage on the beach, take a...

Do not go there especially to the restaurant upon entering to the farthest on the right...there is a total loser working there named carlos who all day long pushes you to buy and drink and eat more than you want too...and above all the will ask you at the end when time to pay a 15 percent service charge for the staff which I understand is for the tip and I agree to it but than carlos has the guts to ask for an additional tip which lead into an arguement when I I just finished paying the 15 percent service charge...my opinion don't go there scam artists and there is nothing special about the beach which there is an admission charge of 80 pesos per person ....there are better beaches with better...

This was one of my favorite beaches, beauty-wise, but it isn't what it used to be. The only access I found has a 30 peso/person charge, not a big thing. There are just too many tourists now. My wife always notices bathrooms, and we didn't see any nor did we see a place to get drinks or food except for the resorts. The resorts we saw were AI and they don't cater to non-guests. One go-to spot was Cafe del Mar - it was battered in a storm several years ago. The skeleton is still there though, and someone appeared to be messing with it (not sure if he was starting a renovation or vandalizing.

This is a great place if you want to get away from playa del Carmen but not drive as far as tulum. Excellent service and a great relaxing beach! We had a beachfront mattress with pillows and a wavy white blanket shielding us from the sun. Just move your mattress if you want more sun. The minimum purchase was 2000 pesos, equivalent to roughly $108. Two people, one beautiful seafood platter galore and several coco loco drinks later, we met the minimum and had a great beach day! Also have masseuse and temporary tattoo artists walking around if that strikes your fancy!!!
