Great port! It looks very industrial when you get there but carts will take you to the main street. When you get there look for a blue line that traverses several neighborhoods straight to the old part of Mazatlan. It is perfectly safe (we saw lots of police) and there are several English speaking volunteers (wearing blue shirts) that are there to help you. The walk was very short and old Mazatlan is a beautiful city. Unless you are with elderly I really don't think you have to take a cab into the city.

Out of the 3 ports we visited, Mazatlan is the one we would definitely revisit! We didn't have time for the coconut & watermelon farms, but we will be back!

Agradezco al personal en barco su atención y servicio al cliente, siempre muy cordiales y alegres, que hicieron placentero mi viaje, tratando a todos con mucho respeto, también agradecer la bebida de cortesía en cabina, excelente para bajar el calor del día. Sin embargo en Puerto, a pesar que tienen medidas de protección para COVID lamentablemente la gente no sigue las instrucciones y no hay quien verifique esto. La subida de pasajeros es muy lenta y hay poca distancia entre ellos, se hacen grupos de aproximadamente 50 personas y muchos de ellos se quitan el cubrebocas y no hay quien llame la atención. Tienen gel antibacterial pero no le exigen al pasajero que lo usé al momento de pasar a revisión previo a subir al barco. Tanto en Puerto como en barco, no pude encontrar algún personal que me pudiera decir con que solución están sanitizando las instalaciones. Creo indispensable dar servicio a las instalaciones, ya que algunas zonas están maltratadas por el uso, tuve un problema con la regadera en cabina, estaba rota y al abrir la llave salió disparada...
