Porto Montenegro — Attraction in Tivat

Lovely place and superb for yachts but a bit strict, more can't do's than can do's..... never known security pop up out of nowhere to say don't touch or don't go there so many times... Kids touched the samurai statues... finger tip touch whilst having a photo... security were there in about 10 seconds... Kids walked over the pavement fountains (the sort of thing designed for kids) security were there in 12 seconds with a big No No no .. we drove our hire car out of marina following a golf cart and got told off (after about 10 metres in) for going the wrong way even though no signs saying it was incorrect....security guy was well over the top about it... Kids wanted to play pool on the club house pool table which was fine the first couple of times but 3rd time 5 euros an hour (pool table would be scrapped from most pubs because of such poor condition and I wouldn't use the cues to prop up my runner bean plants they are in such poor shape)... our kids and us are very well behaved but Port'No' Montenegro is a bit controlling..... ☹ shame because it is very beautiful and organised fantastically but needs to chill out a bit...... wants the public in but doesn't want the public to be anything but compliant with stepford wife like...
