Shree Ramchandra Mandir, located in the vicinity of Pashupatinath area in Kathmandu, Nepal is one of the significant Hindu temples in the world. It is one of the temples in Kathmandu Valley that are located at the high place. People from different parts of the Kathmandu Valley can see the temple, and its high steeples surely lure people’s aesthetic senses. It was established in 1928 VS by Commanding Colonel Shree Sanak Singh Tandon.
It is about 1 km south - west from the famous temple of Pashupatinath. In the main temple of Shree Ram, there are full-sized-enchanting images of Shree Ram, Shree Sita, Shree Bharat, and Shree Satrughna facing towards the east, which is the key to the attraction of the temple. Built in Vishnupanchayen style, the main temple is surrounded on all fours sides by the small images of Lords, namely Ganesh, Surya, Bhagawati, and Shankar. Similarly, there is an image of Lord Hanuman, opposite the main door of the temple. There are other middle-sized eight Shiva Temples within the premise of the temple. Behind the temple, there is a beautiful garden enriched with various colorful flowers.
