How it works: You are given 3 hours to complete the meal: 1 hour for Grill 1 hour for Meal 1/2 hour for salad 1/2 hour for dinner
Pros: In the Grill, fish, chicken and pineapple were good. Since it was Saturday, there was panipuri stall. Panipuri and Dahipuri were really good!
Cons: All the other food sucked! Absolutely sucked!!! a. I had to throw most of the starters, even the spicy chicken wings tasted bad!! And the Veg Momo?!! Even if you’re vegetarian, you’ll hate it for sure! b. Pasta was either not cooked properly or were of the low quality. It stuck to our teeth while chewing. (A whole new experience for sure. Not a a good one though.) c. Chicken biryani had no chicken at all; not a single piece! d. The chicken with peanut sauce tasted like somebody tried to make chicken gravy but they pour in a lot of water and then cooked to dry it off. (Taste? Bad! Texture? BAAAD!!!) e. The tofu was unbearably inedible that I had to spit it out immediately in a tissue paper and rinse my mouth with expensive water (see no 2.). f. The Nimki chaat had the oldest Nimki one could find in the market. One spoon in & yuck! Had to throw a lot of food. (Forgive me god, I'd rather have poison.) g. Only thing that was better in dessert was watermelon. The cakes were somewhere from a cheap old bakery. Fudge and brownies were made from the cheapest and baaaaad chocolate. The ice cream...I don't even have words... The price of water bottle (900ml) was 95 Rupees plus VAT!!!! (check out the bill in the picture) We asked them to give non-mineral water at first but they said they didn’t have it and It was only available in the Kitchen (not to be given to the customers). And they charged us 95 rupees + VAT!! After we came out of there, we bought Rs. 20 bottle (1 litre) from a cold store nearby and quenched our thirst.
Final Verdict: Don’t go there for that unlimited food. It is not worth for some pieces of grill and pani puri. You can get good filling food in that price. And for vegetarians, not recommended at all! (P.S. Paneer grill had...
Read moreI recently visited The Grill Nation, and I have mixed feelings about my experience. Let me break it down for you.
Positive Aspects: The surroundings were lovely, and there was ample parking space, making it convenient for guests. The ambiance of the place was pleasant, and some of the staff members displayed good behavior and courtesy.
Negative Aspects: ❌ Unfortunately, the service was far from satisfactory. The behavior of certain staff members left much to be desired. It felt as if our presence inconvenienced them. We visited The Grill Nation twice for a birthday party, and our first experience wasn't great. However, we decided to give it another chance. On our second visit, our team set up a musical program with permission, making the celebration special for the birthday girl. Some performers took the stage, and everyone was enjoying the event. The dinner was scheduled to end at 9 pm, and we politely requested an additional 10 minutes to finish our meal. To our astonishment, even with plenty of leftover food, we were abruptly told that dinner service was over, leaving us hungry. We couldn't help but wonder if they were serving the same food the next day, as the variety and quality didn't align with what we had seen on influencers' posts. It appeared that the content shown by influencers was tailor-made for marketing, leading to false expectations. Additionally, we experienced issues with uneven snack distribution during the event. Some guests received snacks while others were left out, highlighting a lack of attention to detail by the distribution team.
In summary, The Grill Nation has its strengths, including a pleasant environment and ample parking space. However, the unfortunate service quality, staff behavior, discrepancies between marketing and reality, and issues like uneven snack distribution left us with a less-than-ideal experience. It's disheartening when the potential for an enjoyable evening is undermined by...
