OYO 160 Hotel Shraddha Palace — Hotel in Kathmandu Metropolitan City

We had an excellent experience staying at this hotel during our recent Kathmandu visit. From check-in to check-out, everything was smooth and pleasant.

Rooms: The rooms were spacious, clean, and well-furnished. Comfortable beds, clean bathrooms, and 24/7 hot water made our stay very convenient.

Food: Both breakfast and dinner were included and exceeded expectations. The meals were fresh, well-prepared, and served on time. Everyone in our group enjoyed the delicious variety, especially the Thakali set.

Service: The staff were exceptionally polite, professional, and helpful. They ensured our needs were met promptly and made us feel welcome throughout the stay.

Affordability: The overall cost was very reasonable considering the quality of service, food, and accommodation provided. Great value for money, especially for student or group trips.

Reason behind giving 1 rating is the way they treated to their guest was very rude... The room provided by them was very dirty and was not cleaned up.. the commode seat was broken and at the time when we see this we call their manager infront of their own employees to change for the room they denied that we called them and asked them for a change.... Later when we gave them 1star they asked us to give them at least 3-4 by saying that they won't let us sleep on road is this the way treat their guest...they totally taken us a granted.... As we said it's our discretion to rate them according to service they provided us they started argue with us....... The person employed their was looks totally unprofessional.. they totally taken us as granted really disappointed by their behavior...

I was there for a short stay, 2 days to attend the Maha Shivratri celebrations at Pashupatinath Temple. For that, it was the perfect home base in terms of location. It's not Thamel, but frankly I appreciated some time away from the tourist traps and hustle. My room provided all the basic necessities, including 24hr hot water. The beds were comfy as well and room service was prompt. That said, there were a few insects in the room, nothing overwhelming, but do take note if that is something you are sensitive to. Nonetheless, what really shined was the helpfulness of the staff, who were able to field my questions and kindly provide any assistance as needed. Recommended for a basic short stay...
