Hotel Ramanam with Vegetarian Restaurant — Hotel in Kathmandu Metropolitan City

Undoubtedly the best hotel we stayed in during our visit to Kathmandu in Dec 2023.

Pro :

Friendly owner and staff. Very polite people. Owner is from India and is very helpful. Infact, he helped us to design our itinerary for onward travel to pokhara and manakamna temple.

Clean and spacious rooms. Unlike Other hotels in kathmandu, rooms and washroom were clean and spacious. Linen provided was also clean.

Food was available within the hotel premises and was pure veg. Food was very reasonably priced and was very tasty. We had all the menu items during our 2 day stay at the hotel. I liked the thali system very much which offered unlimited refills until you say no. But there is a fine of 50 INR if you leave food in your plate.

Tariff is at par with other hotels in the vicinity which do not have such facilities.

Only 1 KM walking distance from Pashupatinath mandir.

Cons:

Parking is not ample. You can only park up to 3 cars here.

This hotel is situated in a side street so big vehicles cannot go. Only vehicles like tempo traveler can go...

It was very good stay there because of rooms are excellent, services are good and staff is very good, cooperative especially DINANATHJI he is all in one there and every thing possible for you. The best thing is the pure vegetarian restaurant with delicious fresh food at good price. The services offered by them are excellent 👌. Walking distance from the shree pashupatinath temple makes it best place to stay for vegetarian peoples, you can get meals without ONIONS/GARLICS on request. Only thing annoying thing is Noise of water in Room no 102 and 202, so just avoid...

Situated a minute away from the main road this place is just like finding a pearl in ocean. They serve pure vegetarian food. The only place that one can find in the city with great ambience.

The food menu has varieties and the khaja or the meals offered is available with multiple options and is unlimited and very economical. We could order 3 special thalis with rice, chapati, 4 sabzi, curd all unlimited, with ginger tea and all this costed less than Nepali...
