We went to see a cultural program consisting of Tharu music and dances performed by Tharu tribals. There were at least 7 different dances, some romantic, some celebratory, and a few characterised by the use of sticks in a "armed" way.

There were snacks and drinks available too. I tried "Ghungi" - snails cooked with masala. I am sorry to say these were difficult to extract the flesh from, and when I was able to, they didn't taste so good.
