Jalapeno restaurant — Restaurant in Ratnanagar

2 weeks before I went to this restaurant twice the 1st time experience was just okay and 2nd time was the worst.

Good: Only location is perfect. For hot or cold drinks it's okay. Not for having meals.

Bad: I ordered Veg Nepali Thali usually in thali its refillable but when I ask to refill the staff said the food is not ready the need to cook. The staff even do not have hospitality sense to apologise after he informed food is not ready he went to restaurant reception desk and even the co- staff. I waited for 15 min then I decide to pay and go elsewhere. I felt wasted money and being cheated in such a restaurant who don't fulfil the expectations. If the food was not ready the staff should tell before that they are unable to refill. best for italian and mexican food. I had one of the best lasagna here. the coffee was great and so was the mushroom soup. The best soup we've ever had. it was very creamy and thick with rich butter in it. the cheese and seasonings were just right on the lasagna and i feel that any cheese items here including pizza would be great . highly recommend this place if you are visiting chitwan. also, sauraha is nereby and you could go to the rapti river bank to look at the crocodiles after your lunch here. the restaurant is on the first floor, and its an open balcony from where you can sometimes even see some elephants walking...

Stopped by to grab dessert after eating dinner at a restaurant nearby. We tried the truffle cake, brownie and banana fritters (all with ice cream). All came with chocolate ice cream - not sure if an option but we would have preferred vanilla. The truffle cake & brownie were both ok, the truffle had a weird minty flavor to it and the brownie was more like a chocolate cake than an American brownie. But the banana fritter was WOW.
