Hotel Monalisa Chitwan — Hotel in Ratnanagar

We would like to express our gratitude to Hotel MonaLisa for providing us with an exceptional stay in Sauraha. We were staying at the hotel from 26/03/2025 till 29/03/2025. The hotel territory is filled with beautiful flowers and greenery. One of the highlights is the organic farm, where fresh vegetables are grown to be served to guests.

The swimming pool is a perfect place to relax and unwind after excursions. The rooms are large and comfortable, although they could benefit from some renovation.

We booked a three-night package with excursions and were absolutely delighted with the organization of all activities and the attentive service. The hotel owner, Mr. Keshab, and his staff were incredibly caring and helpful, always ready to assist with any request. Mr. Keshab personally interacts with guests daily to ensure their stay is nothing short of excellent.

When we were heading back to Kathmandu, the hotel manager thoughtfully prepared a delicious packed lunch as a complimentary gesture, which we truly appreciated.

A special mention goes to the restaurant staff, who provided outstanding service, accommodating our every request, and to the chef, who prepared exceptionally delicious dishes tailored to a European taste (non-spicy and without strong spices).

Stayed at Hotel Monalisa in Chitwan and had such a lovely experience. The hotel is clean, peaceful, and well-maintained, perfect for anyone looking for a comfortable stay close to nature but still with modern facilities. It’s in a great location, too, not far from the main attractions like the national park, but tucked just enough away from the noise.

The rooms were spacious and cozy, with good air conditioning, comfy beds, and all the basic amenities you’d expect. What really stood out to me, though, was the hospitality. The staff were genuinely kind, helpful, and made sure everything went smoothly throughout my stay.

The food at the hotel restaurant was also quite good, fresh and simple, with both local and international options. It felt like a home away from home, which is not something you can say about every hotel.
