Recently attended a Jimmy Eat World concert here having travelled from Ireland.
Firstly, the location is stunning. It is hidden away in a beautiful, scenic park just to the southwest of Amsterdam's main hub. The decorations of lights along the trees and tree stumps converted to lighting is really creative and welcoming. All of the staff were very friendly also from the ticket people to the bar staff.
The stage/audience area is very cozy and intimate and even though it's not particularly big, it offers a great experience to all, no matter where you position yourself.
One thing however. There was a 'token' system in progess whereby none of the amenitites were payable by cash/card but by coloured tokens which had to be purchased in bundles of 5, 10, 15 etc. These weren't cheap and really a pain more than anything. I ended up not buying any food/drinks because of it at the show as it was just an inconvenience more...

The venue staff were nice and I appreciated that they weren't too strict - they let people sit on the stairs as long as they weren't blocking the way. It is a bit inconvenient to get to, but that's part of the charm. My main complaint is that they use a token system for buying food and beers. It seems very inefficient and results in having to wait in line twice - once to buy tokens and once to buy food/drinks. I also left with a worthless half token, which...
