A great place to take children, where they can see rabbits, chickens, cows, and goats, and a house with guinea pigs, rats and birds. The animals have lots of space to do their thing, and our son loves to run about with the goats. A large playground and snack bar round out a good family trip. There was a kind of Insect Festival at the Speelboerderij! Bees buzzed everywhere and you could buy home-made jams, wine, and snacks. I watched a woman spin wool into yarn! Someone brought Giant African Snails! There activities for kids, and of course the playgrounds were open. There seems to be new pens for fancy chickens and turkeys.
