Private Sauna @ De Ceuvel — Attraction in Amsterdam

Overall we enjoyed our time at the sauna but find it hard to recommend this based on our experience with the company. We wanted to make a change with our booking and were unable to reach the owners via the company email, phone number or provided WhatsApp. We have still received no reply. We went for the dinner&dip which was at 6pm. It was pretty dark and the deck was expectedly slippery. There is a sauna and the dip area, and a minimal shower (with no gripped surface). There was a broken hole in the deck right in front of the sauna that I stepped through and cut my leg. It was very difficult to see but these things happen. However I told the contact number about this and again received no response. All I expected was a commitment to fix that hole as it’s quite dangerous but again got no reply from the company. It’s a shame as we did enjoy ourselves and dinner at de Ceuvel was great. But next time we will use one of the other sauna offerings...

Absolutely fantastic experience in Amsterdam! The atmosphere is relaxed and beautiful and a great way to escape the crowds and enjoy being on the water. We booked a private evening session. The sauna and plunge pool experience felt amazing. The area had a really rustic and cozy feel and the firepit was lovely to sit around and visit. Julie, the host, treated us like friends and enhanced the experience in many ways by sharing her knowledge and providing us with everything we needed to just relax and enjoy ourselves. I really did not want to leave! Highly recommend if you want to relax and get a break from the traditional "tourist" experiences in Amsterdam.

Came to badhus for the first time on a saturday morning and what a treat! We liked it so much we came back the next day. The location is secluded but also quirky and cool. The saunas both have amazing views over the canal, and were very unique in their own ways and most importantly they were heated up perfectly. The canal was great to take a dip in and was super nice that they had a shower to rinse off with.

The actual facility they have is super cool and I think the owners have really nailed the vibe of the place. I would highly recommend for anyone who wants to get a little bit out of the chaos of...
