The place is very cosy and nice, but unfortunately there was an incident that can’t be ignored, we went there on 29 -11 -2024 at 8:20 pm. ( we are a group of different colours and races Black,White, Spanish and Brown) The waiter who came at the door to welcome us in was a black bold guy, he is young late twenty’s perhaps,my friend first asked him if we can have a table to drink then he told him yeah you can choose a table and i will take your order, we were going straight to pick us a table, then he came to my friend and in a very harsh way asked him not to go at the back and go and sit at the front area, we did. Then he came to our table to take order, our friend she was ordering her drink very calm and normal then he suddenly told her be fast because i am busy tonight with preparing drinks to other people, we were shocked of the way but we said it’s alright, later when he came to bring the order he put the drinks in a very fast way on the table and most of our drinks were coffee, he didn’t really explain which is which and brought us one drink wrong but we didn’t have time to send it back because he disappeared in no time. However, another young lady came to our table to take our deserts order, she was nice and super friendly. Later we paid our bill to this lady and just before we decide to leave the place (after 30 mins maybe) this guy came to us and said this table is reserved you have to hurry up!! We said we already paid and we are waiting for our friend she is in the toilet and she will come back soon. So finally when we at the door to leave he came to us and said guys you should pay, we said we already did, then he said to who and was investigating in a rude way, and then he called the other lady and asked her if we paid, she said yes they did, and he was talking to her for a while, and when i showed him the phone screen of payment then he said oh okay.
It was unpleasant experience for all of us, he was not professional not nice and definitely not a friendly waiter, i don’t know if he owns the place or he just works there, what he did is not okay, and he shouldn’t be allowed to deal with costumer with that attitude. We are very...
Read moreSo much potential to be a great spot with the nice outdoor seating but sadly the service is just really slow and has a bad attitude. Food was decent but waaay overpriced. The fact that a steak for 52€ doesn’t come with any sides says enough. And no, it was not a huge steak. It was okay though, not the most tender but seasoned and cooked nicely. The calamari were seasoned nicely too, albeit also overcooked. Mussels were super tasty and the standout dish. But again, some bread on the side would have been nice. We asked for bread and it came 20 min after we had finished with the mussels. For me the piri piri chicken was a huge letdown, nearly no spice, no seasoning. It was just really bland. The patatas bravas were okay for fried potatoes, but patatas bravas are served with aioli and a homemade hot sauce and we had neither - so it was basically a small portion of fried potatoes for 7€.
Cant give more than 3 stars for this experience, I wish I could do more but the food and service were not to the level of...
