The venue says it's wheelchair accessible but let me tell you as a person in a wheelchair myself, it's barely minimum wheelchair accessible. The people in charge of the door and or security didn't know to tell me how to access the building in a more easier way other than, go down the service alley and then finagle my chair over a very precarious part of the alley onto the buildings walkway around to the entrance. If a wheelchair gets that part in a wrong angle, one can get a bend in the wheel or even a broken wheel. Once inside, it really isn't anything special for us in a wheelchair. Yes, there are WC for us and a lift to get us upstairs, but the seating and they way it's set up isn't made for anyone in a wheelchair, it's just an afterthought. 1 or 2 chairs removed from row 6 on either side, is the only thing I personally saw. 1 chair at the beginning of row 6 was the only thing I saw. You wouldn't be able to get a full row of wheelchair individuals. I was even "in the way" and was told to keep adjusting to accommodate the other 30-40 people that just kept coming and going. I was the one who got kicked several times just so some people could get into their seats. So .. wheelchair accessible? Are you still going for that? You haven't convinced...
Read moreI have been here during ADE to dance on the music of among others Camelphat. There were multiple events in the same area. So parking the car was a hustle. Eventually I remembered a spot where I could park for free at a relatively short walking distance. A lot of people decided to go a bit later. The queue was a bit chaotic and some of the security had a bit of a short fuse. The locker service was horrible. Via the QR code I was offered as normal two options small or big. The small one "seemed" not to be available so I had to take the big one. I was surprised that in the end I still got a small one. Not really nice of the organizer. There were normal toilets in the lobby and dixies inside. It was really crowded. It would be nice that they would sell a little bit less tickets. Just increase the price a bit and we can dance normally. O yeah. I want to give a compliment for the security guard in the smoking area who put his colleague on his place. A young unexperienced guy who pushed one of the visitors...
Read moreMusic of Hans Zimmer. Wildly disappointing show that was poorly composed and utilised AI generated video clips instead of actual movie footage to accompany the music. Not important in and of itself but very distracting if you're trying to enjoy an interstellar piece and see a budget black hole being shown. The musicians were clearly talented but were poorly lead and the compositions for the Spiderman/Man of Steel/Dark Knight were the low point whereby the music was off key and didn't even sound anything like the original. The Dark Knight piece sounded like something you'd hear at a hotel lounge.
Biggest take away: next time I'm going to a show BY Hans Zimmer and not one boasting the music OF...
