Gorcums Museum — Attraction in Gorinchem

The historical context of Gorkum was what I was most looking forward to when visiting this museum. Sadly, but understandably the full potential is not reached here. Many of the information is brief and without context. No real story is told. There is also a rotating art exhibition. The price is low (€5,50), I would say worth a short visit...

Not really my type of museum. However, very friendly and welcoming staff, interesting shop and adjacent coffee/bar. Located just in the middle of main square. Good place to learn about the history of the city. Calming experience while walking through its halls and collections. Great effort by city's citizens to share their history...
