Dear Managment Team of Thermal Holiday,
I hope this review will find you well and later on you will implement some changes in your policies, house rules and will spend some money on Tone of voice training for your fellow colleagues, oh and please do not forget about toilet paper!
Cleanliness: 3 Pools outside are not clean, you can see leaves and dust in it, probably it is because of a lot of people, however this is something to pay attention on.
Toilets are dirty and there’s lack of toilet paper.
Personnel and house rules: 1 With so many rules and restrictions as no phone use, no loud talking, no towels allowed in the restaurant, no hats allowed in the restaurant, and all other rules that you see on screens after arrival I felt like in prison instead of being relaxed, for the whole day I was feeling that I am doing something wrong and I can get a fine or be kicked out, or even if I receive a note it still will ruin the day.
I received a note in the restaurant where I was told literally the next: “You are not allowed to use phone, this is the second note (it was the first however) or I will kick you out (literally)”
You should teach your fellow colleagues some manners with guests. Plus the rules are ridiculous and this is not the prison, but wellness center, so pay attention to it. For no phones policy I can understand when it is a naked day, however when it is a bikini day, I find it ridiculous.
Also no food pictures are allowed, I can assume Why. Because instead of stake as it was on the menu picture, they brought us 3 slices of meat which looked and tasted like rubber.
Food: 1 Service: 1
Oh and for the whole day I noticed only one person who was responsible for cleaning. Only one guy! He was doing great, but come one, only one person? I saw him cleaning the toilet, then cleaning the pool area, then again toilets. Give him some help!
So the question is how do you treat your staff?
Saunas are nice, back yard area is beautiful and prices are good, however because of the facts mentioned above I highly do not recommend...
Read more4.95 EUR "administrative costs" just to be able to book online and additional 4.95 each following day/time change….
It is very sad that this place does not understand that people who want to relax in a spa are very often busy people with busy schedules who need the flexibility to reschedule, or just the opposite - this spa uses "administrative costs" to earn extra money. They charged me 4.95 for the first administrative cost just to make a booking online (which already seemed outrageous; what is the administration they need to do with a self made online booking?) and when a couple of hours later I politely asked to postpone to another day, they added another 4.95 to my bill.... 10 euro for just the administrative costs in one day– I have never paid so much in any online booking service.... The customer service is pathetic, when I explained the reason why I need a day change (which is also partly due to their booking system not properly informing on the booking service/calendar which days are the "naked" days), they just said something like “these is our terms and conditions, have a great day”, they have not shown even a bit of willingness to help out a customer. I have lived in Holland for so many years and customer service enployees in all other establishements first looked at my case to see how we can solve it, not refering at all, or only as a last resort, to their terms and conditions.. The customer service does not serve their customers at all, they are useless and they just lost a client... Will never visit this place again.
I definitely do...
Read moreI would not recommend this place for quite a lot of reasons. Its not worth your money especially because it's not as relaxing as you would think. Poor staff, poor quality, poor facility.
We bought a quite expensive package that includes a 25-min massage, tea/coffee, a dessert, and a sandwich. Towels, bathrobes and slippers are NOT included however, no where on the website they mention this. (Because you pay that much money you would expect those items to be included or at least to see some type of information on the website)
The lady on the reception asked us if it was our first time there and when we said yes she did not explain anything about the place at all...If it's customer's first time you would at least explain the most simple items they need and the rules but, no. They booked our massages without telling us at what time so once we arrived there, we already missed one massage because we were not informed. And of course, they did not do anything about it. The massage was not as good as I thought it would be, disappointing.
The facility did not offer many things. You would see many saunas and many pools just with different names. The outdoor vibe was good mainly because were were in nature but for what we paid, it was not worth it.
The restaurant was surprisingly fine and the staff was friendly however, we would pay the same amount if we did not have a package.
I am sure there are other wellness centers where you can actually relax, get what you paid, and encounter with a more...
