Visited in winter time in late afternoon/evening hours. Our main goal was to soak in warm water and relax a bit. Changing facilities were spotless and looked very new with family changing room available next to ladies and gents one. Staff at the desk was very pleasant and entry fee was just nothing for the hot bubbling water of jacuzzi relaxing our bodied to oblivion. Having said that, everyone thought the same probably. As the hot tub was constantly packed and same went for sauna and steam room. Could see ppl standing in both packed like on japanese train in rush hour. I'd recommend to go in earlier in the day for the spa bit. We liked the facility a lot (temperature, different power of the hot tub jets for a massage was grand, timely reminders to keep hydrated with plenty of drinking fountains at hand - brilliant idea) Maybe could do with some art on the walls, to give it less sterile vibe? Noticed multiple passes for the whole facility available. And if u forget anything essential for swimming, they have it in the shop. Pretty neat...

This complex has a gym and selection of swimming pools - 2 x 25m pools, one 2m deep sports pool and another pool more suitable for children. They also have a smaller pools for the little ones, a sauna, steam room and spa as well as a hydroslide. Outside there is an outdoor leisure pool where you can do some lane swimming. The outdoor area is open from November through until March generally. The outdoor pool has some longer lanes 50.3 metres and an attached dive well. The dive boards are open in the afternoon, the dive well is available for aquajogging in the mornings. There are also outdoor slides popular with the children and extensive grassed areas to relax in the sun...

Jellie Pool has certainly changed since I was last there. I went with my parents, my 14 year old niece and 6 year old nephew and we all had a great time. Lots of choices of pool types and my nephew was introduced to the hydro slides both inside and outside and my niece loves them as well. She had been only a couple of days before with friends. We were able to get food and drinks and the pool staff and the cafe staff were all lovely. My reason for 4 not 5 stars is the lack of shaded areas outside. It was a cloudless and therefore sunny day and as someone with fair skin I could have done with shade whilst supervising a rambunctious boy in the water. Otherwise, would...

This was my first swim in Jellie park's outdoor 50m pool after arriving into Christchurch from a long flight. Water temp was perfect (preferring cooler lap swim pools versus warmer ones) and they allow visitors for a modest entry fee. Super friendly and helpful staff. The outdoor 50m pool had lanes clearly identified by speed with required circle pattern even if you're swimming solo. Remember to circle clockwise, as they drive on the left side of the roads 😂 showers were nice and warm and men's locker rooms were clean. It was cool to see a Cafe inside with lots of food options. You could totally spend many hours here.

The lake in the center of this park is stunning and tranquil. I think there are more ducks here than in any other park, and they show no fear of humans. When you sit by the lake, they will come up to you. Maybe many people feed them, so they behave that way.

A beautiful park with plenty of parking available. We love watching the variety of ducks in the pond. The walkway are wheelchair accessible and well designed to enjoy all the scenic spots in the park. There are lots of activities for all ages.
