Westburn Reserve Playground — Attraction in Christchurch

Westburn Reserve and Kids Bike Park is a great park for kids! I highly recommend this park for parents that are struggling for ideas of what to do during the weekends. I bought my niece and nephew here after finding it on the city council website. This park/reserve features a fun play ground with a big slide and see saw set as well as a bike park which has a one lane bridge and railway crossing (both are fake and completely safe). This reserve also has public toilets onsite and a picnic table...

I have witnessed many children learn how to ride their bikes there. Great learning roads. Only thing is you sometimes get adults on E scooters that aren't exactly behaving kids friendly...

Great fun at this park. Playground isn't amazing but has all the usual - slide,swings seesaw etc. Definitely bring bikes, skates, skateboards,scooter to play on the road tracks too....
