Gorgeous views, if your car can make it up the hill! Plenty of parking and even a public toilet. This little park is tucked away at the top of the hill between Sumner and Taylor's Mistake. There is a small playground there for kids, however the park itself is very steep, so buggies and prams would struggle. Rustic gravel paths wind their way down towards the bottom of the Bay, but it's muddy and quite steep, not to mention lots of people on mountain bikes flying past you. Don't underestimate the climb back up to the car park, it's rough. Fortunately, The Council have added lots of lovely seating and places to rest. The vegetation in the park is being worked on since the days of neglect after the earthquakes.
