Maybe fence more of the river for smaller amounts of dogs to run around in. Need more bbqs too why not have different fenced areas for BBQing with family and pets...

There's a duck who we call "Hoppy" because he/she has a bad leg so needs to be fed while he/she sits down (can't run for the food like the rest). The ducks birds swans all make it exciting. The video though is what got us... Its a video of who we now call "earnie" he has a wife & a child who he gets food for & runs back to feed. This video which we captured months ago was our moment.... Read moreMy daughter got me off the couch and out of the house to go visit the Groynes, in Christchurch. This place was very special to my children many decades ago and grandchildren later on, when they were growing up. So many picnic days and mixing with other family members for barbecues at the Groynes. Still a very well maintained area with lovely walks.
