The Warehouse Linwood - Eastgate — Attraction in Christchurch

Deplorable. Be very wary of electronics. I purchased a dish unit from them. It didn't work even though the dish aerial worked for previous occupants of house. I brought it back. They sent it to dish tv to be inspected. Dish tv said it does work so the warehouse said I can't have money back. I take the unit home. As I go to plug it in in preparation for the TV aerial expert he tells me they haven't given the power cord back to me. I ring dish tv and they tell me they didn't receive it so warehouse must have it. I ring the warehouse to tell them they never gave me my cord back. I get passed along once and then next person says they cant fix the problem and hangs up on me. As a person who has spent thousands of dollars at the warehouse over my lifetime I am very disappointed. Also getting told things like "ring dish tv" and "your aerial isn't working" and "are you sure you have a satellite dish?" did not help. Of course I already tried those things! I mean the dish tv person on the phone admitted the dish tv doesn't always work on satellite dishes that work perfectly fine on other smart TVs and sky TV. The product is poor and the fact the warehouse and dish tv keep blaming each other and my problem doesn't get solved is just not good enough. Shame on you Warehouse and Dish TV!

Went in this afternoon with my young person to find a pair of headphones. Of course they are all boxed up so you cant really try them on, and as headphones are all different and fit differently on people, we asked if we bought a pair and took them home to 'try on' could we return them if they didnt fit well. The assistant said no , but she could open the box for us, and let us have a look. This is not helpful , as you still cant tell if they are a comfortable fit. She said it was for health and saftey reasons, which makes no sense at all, when you can try on a pair of shoes or even try on a hat for that matter, ( which i would think poses more of a health risk) but this is ok . Plus you would be able to return these items, if they were not the right fit, but not headphones!! And Im not talking about the little buds that fit in your ears, no, I mean the large type that fit over your ears! This is ridiculous! Poor...

What can you say, another big red shed and just as messy as the rest. Mind you it was the day after Boxing Day. The one thing I did see at this store that I haven't see at any of the other stores was at the unusual behaviour of the staff serving at the jewellery counter, as shown in my photos. When I arrived at the counter there were other customers waiting ahead of me for assistance. The two staff members behind the counter had their backs toward us and seemed to be more intent on talking to each other and looking at what was on the computer screen than what was going on behind them. I was there for well over 10 minutes and not once during that time did either of the two staff turn around. And yes, in one of the pictures, that is jewellery sitting on top of...
