BEWARE
I love the warehouse but in this review I am referring to the Jewellery Section.
I went in to buy our wedding rings while they were having a pretty good sale (40% off), good right? Wrong. I should never have settled for cheap jewellery from the warehouse.
I was served by Catherine. She was in a rush the whole time I was there and I felt like we were a burden trying on different rings (of course we have to get the right one!) We tried on a few sizes, I found one the fit me perfectly which was size Q, although Catherine insisted I got a P and a half so it wouldn't be too loose, obviously I had to say yes, after all she was supposed to be the jeweller expert right?
When the ring arrived a week later it looked so small in the baggie that I decided I should try it on. To my surprise it was too small, barely passing my knuckle. I went back to the counter and was told that since I agreed to the size that there was no way of getting a refund since I AGREED to the size. The lady told me to come back on Sunday and speak with Catherine because she didn't know what she had said to me. She also said my fingers may have swelled since I sized the ring a week beforehand but I knew this wasn't the case as my engagement ring was still as easy to slip on and off as the day i tried on my wedding ring.
I took the ring to another jeweler (not the warehouse) and he measured the ring I received and told me it was barely a p and a half, if anything it would be considered a P. He was so lovely and luckily gave us a good price to resize it bigger. Not worth going back in to face Catherine again.
Absolutely disgusted with the service I recieved at the jewellery counter mainly from Catherine. If you don't like your job why stay there? Management should probably have a...
Read moreUsed Warehouse Stationery (inside Warehouse Riccarton) three times.
The first time I uploaded a photo which they printed, and cut everyone's heads off. The preview was fine and the dimensions of the actual photo were fine. But alas, a printing error. Not off to a great start but OK. They printed it properly. Great.
Then got an item laminated. Well, sort of laminated. They did a terrible job, and I could have done better with my own laminator. Brought it here to be done by the professionals. The lamination had kind of "dragged" all the plastic to one side and it was warped. I was suprised they gave it to me without apologising for the state it was in. No replacement or refund given.
Went one more time to get a photo printed. Again, the preview and original pics were fine, but again, heads chopped off. No refund or replacement (or apology/explanation) given.
I mean, do they not look at the work they do and think "That doesn't look right"?
Three out of three fails. I would rather pay more and go elsewhere.
The wait time is also frustrating. They say the photos will be five minutes. 30 minutes later you're still standing at the counter while they continue to take other jobs. You have to cut in between customers to ask whats happening. Oh, the photos have been ready for ages, have they? Thanks guys. I was standing here the entire time. Not even a modicum of awareness or...
Read moreI used their Fujifilm photo machine today and it was a terrible experience.
There are endless amount of print centres in Christchurch that do all the work for you and it’s cheaper and so much easier.
If you want to get any sizes smaller than your typical size, you cannot tell how big the sizes are. If you want to print lots of photos like 50 or 100 or more then you can only print several photos on one page and you have to hand select each photo and add it to cart and then go through the whole process again and re-select them to add more. getting your cell phone connected to the machine can be really glitchy. The app or the website can take an hour to send the photos through. I ended up printing about 80 photos with two photos on each page and half of the photos had half of the information missing. If you want to edit the photos it won’t go to the latest photo you added. You can’t tell which photo you’re editing and so if it’s the wrong photo that you selected to edit, you can’t go back because it will delete everything you’ve done. You just have to add to cart again and risk getting charged twice.
It took me three hours to...
