Wow. What a joke this place is. Needed some underlay for a temporary project so thought I'd have a look here before paying $100 for a brand new, quality roll. They had some, outside, damp, used, and probably 1/10 of a roll. No price. Guy looks through it and I honestly though they'd say take it away. $5 and I would have been questioning if it was worth it.
$25.
Literally more than twice what NEW, much better quality product costs.
When I pointed this out the (clueless) guy just looked at me like I'd insulted him mother, and then just kinda wandered off.....
Not the first time I've seen poor quality or straight of broken stuff in here with a price more than new on it. Maybe get rid of a few clueless staff members (holy crap there are a lot of them!) and you wouldn't need to be ripping people off for what was literally rubbish. Read moreThis is a must visit for any new students, or those just starting a flat. It's all used items sold here, but thar means you get all the the stuff really cheap. I got a pair of my dad's really good speakers that I couldn't find anywhere for 20 bucks! I was after a medium sized casserole dish and a lid for it for $6 (it did need a good clean though). They have a lot of other things there too. Like tables, sofas, kitchen appliances, tvs, desks, pictures, school chairs, worn workshop tools, pillows, shoes, vinyls, cds, to name a few. Of course, if all depends on what you want and if your okay with using used stuff (and some stuff is well used).
Also, it's first in first served. Sometimes you can look for a product and all of them are unusable, then the next time a few extra came in the other day and there is one that suits your task, so it's a bit of the luck of the draw whether or not you get what you want (just after Christmas is...
