THE WORST fish and chips we've had ever! Fish: the fish was soggy and tasted terribly fishy (I know they say it's fresh if it's fishy but seriously not this fishy). The pieces 'seemed' large... but I think the batter bulked them up... Batter on fish: the batter was all bubbly and thick... sooo thick... it soaked up so much oil that it it fell apart. On some parts of the fish, the batter was raw... Chips: chips were overcooked but thick cut, so they weren't terribly dry... but were very discoloured because they were overcooked. Battered sausage: Horrible... this huge sausage with thick batter... the sausage was the size of a large Bratwurst. Battered meat pattie: Gross.... I don't even know what this was... it was like 10% mince meat with 70% sausage meat with the leftover of flour paste... This wasn't pleasant at all...

Unfortunately, we threw 70% of this out because it was almost inedible. Price was okay at $33 in total, but no way at all was it...

FOOD POISONING!! My local fish and chip shop was shut due to covid so came across this place.. Big difference in prices with my local!! This place is very expensive per scoop or item (eg hot dog, fish). Not only more expensive but the scoop sizes were very different. 2 scoops is more the size of 1 scoop. My 6 yr old daughter had a fish (also very small in size) I had a vegeterian Pattie which was basically mushy mash potato and fried like a potato fritter. That night my daughter was violently ill with food poisining... Has certaintly put both of us off fish and chips (me mostly due to the smell of the fatty vomit).

Give this a ZERO...

This is the worst place that I have ever been to... I and my partner got fish and chips. Price was cheap and place looked little messy. (especially chips are not stored in fridge). We didn't expect much from them, but what we got was far worse than our expectation. There were little yellow spots in all three fishes and they smelt like ammonia!! So I brought it back and they told me that it suppose to smell like it. Apparently, according to them Hoki's tail suppose to smell like it. It was good that they offered me a new fish, but I didn't want to eat any more, so she gave me refund. I wouldn't go back here even if someone pay money...
