Great little shop. I normally go on weekends and there is a very lovely gal Maggie who makes and mean coffee and has the best chats! They say it’s less about the coffee used and more about the barista and I’ve always been sceptacle of this but wow my mind has been changed! Maggie gets the perfect extraction every time it’s not bitter at all it’s insane, literally the best coffee that has ever touched my lips every single time I go. She was even telling me about some new stuff they got to make the coffee making process more precise so you’re sure to get a mean as cup. I visited with my godmother today being Thursday 10/10/24. You noticed that I was very tearful and barely managed to whisper my coffee order to you. You responded with such an unexpected and generous kindness by giving me my coffee for free. Needless to say, I cried harder but with gratitude and thanks. Cute little coffee window with some of the most consistently delicious coffee in Christchurch, I think! I was traveling around NZ a little recently, and was ordering the same drink everywhere, but I was honestly so happy to get back to Coffee Hut because they make it the best, every time!
