An absolute beauty of an area. So many great colors all or more than the rainbow. Beautiful pond area surrounding with flowers just matching to the scenery. Even stepping stones over the water. Cant believe the experience i have everytime i go there. Its a perfect location for a wedding or celebration as well. Me and family used to go here all together for a christmas lunch. Where we get together to feast on our big lot of food. Then me and my cousins running around. They have a park there as well with views of the water ahead. Kayakers passing by always seeming to be so happy. As each stride of the paddle heads in the water to carry on the travel. Botanical garden is a trip worth the taking. To not experience a treasure such as this in Gisborne is...

This is one of our favorite public local parks in Gisborne. Play equipment is great quality and well maintained 😊 3 areas to play for all age groups. Water felton & toilets are responsibly well kept, Space to throw the ball or set a area up for sports, bird avery, different gardens to walk through, walk tracks through out the park, ponds with ducks and other wildlife, great place for wedding reception, school trips and family time take a picnic along while enjoying your time there, park tables and benches throughout the park. If not needing a table take a blanket and relax in the shade of some historical trees...

Was a good outing for myself and mokopuna. Very tidy, the grounds n gardens well kept. The playground has improved over the years and plenty of room to release all that energy. Ka pai Gizzi! Would also like to say that the other visitors there were nice and friendly. Was especially impressed with some young boys there who shared the equipment with my little moko....and wonderful manners....

I just cant get enough of this place. Can you believe I get up at 5:30 now and do my walking while it is still cool? Today I walked laps around the gardens as the sun came up. Really nice and I think this will be mosty what i do from now on for ny daily walk.

Nice little nature walk😍a shame there's lazy parents that couldn't despose of their child's diaper in the rubbish but a few steps away🤦🏾‍♀️my daughter, on her own accord, loves keeping Papatuanuku clean and healthy😍👏🏽ka pai my baby👌🏾👍🏾
