First of all I feel very sorry for that review, cos the staff is very friendly and except the pizza, everything was great. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ for the home made fries with the special sauce, this was really delicious. ⭐️⭐️for the pizza, Im a real pizza lover and I had a lot pizza in my life, all around the world. And I know its very difficult to find a real good pizza in NZ, but there’re some around. OK these are also Italian pizza shops, so a comparison is not always fair. But if you like pizza you have an expectation, its all about the dough. 90% is the dough 7% is the pizza sauce 3% is just the topping This pizza was super burned at the edges and it was also super crusty (thats not bad at all) but the taste was more like a crisp bread then a pizza.

How far this place has fallen. It looked like they tried to save money by using less cheese. This was supposed to be a pepperoni pizza. A significant part of it (the outer part, except for the middle) didn't even have mozzarella. I had to pay $1 extra for basil (you see how much basil is there) and you don't see the amount of pepperoni but you can see that outer part of the pizza has nothing but tomato sauce. It still tastes better than Neptune, but worse than Mediterranean Grill. I used to love this place, I remember the days we'd wait more than an hour before that little pop-up looking shop. This was $26 plus service fee, plus delivery.

Pretty cute place . We found this place after driving around the town where most food outlets were closed. Quite out of the main street as this was further into the surburb. We had a good choice of thin, crusted pizza, chicken and charizo but we had to wait a very long time to have it. It was a very busy afternoon with the family crowd filling in the compound. The drinks kept flowing but not the food.

Very disappointed for my first in gisbourne. I was recommend this place by one of my customer. I order garlic bread and meat feast pizza for take out. I was told 30 minutes wait time which I was happy with the wait as I gave me time to have a local beer while I wait. Nearly a hour later still no pizza and while waiting two people on the table next to me who came in 20 minutes after me got served there pizza before me. Then I have a shout from the kitchen what is us your name. ???? I finally had to go up to the counter and ask how long will the pizza be as I have been waiting nearly a hour for two pizza. Finally got my food a few moments later to find they where not even warm after all that time waiting for...

We went on Friday night with family, I'd heard positive things about this place and it definitely lived up to and surpassed expectations. Lots of seating outdoors and indoors, it was busy which is understandable not just because it was a Friday night but also because its kid friendly and has an all round good vibe and great pizzas. I had the gluten free jerk chicken and haloumi which is one of the yummiest gluten free pizzas I've had in a long long time and my partner had beef and jalapeno. Even better that there was some left over for next day, which was just as delicious. Wish they had a branch in Auckland, its almost worth moving to...
