Blastacars Hamilton age limits restriction 8 years plus awesome place to have fun with the whanau or even a birthday party excellent space to have a conference day as a company or even a team building day. Plenty of parking outside and around the building with a upstairs viewing area enclosed from fumes and external viewing area platform next to it with noise and smells from the karts exterior picnic bench sitting area to the right. Staff are very helpful at booking you in. I would recommend registering online before turning up there's a nice big screen inside to show you the lap times and who wins the race with a podium finish platform positions 1,2,3. There's a briefing room downstairs we're all kart drivers get inducted for the rules of the track and safety. We paid $40 for 15 minutes. The toilet facilities are male and female nice and clean there is also a conference room one large table and some really cool red and white wheels on the wall. Karts were awesome - good condition - cool idea - well thought out lights system for stopping the circuit if someone is needing help. Quick and to the point briefing - friendly staff. Our only 2 issues were allowing crazy young drivers to bomb round the course constantly crashing into us and eachother - no evidence of any attempt from staff to chill them out. Dont get me wrong we had bumps/crashes along the way - its in the nature of the course/sport. But these guys were slamming into us and eachother full speed and laughing about it. At times it seemed quite intentional. Also revving engines at the start despite being told not to. Just looks unprofessional when you let youngsters run riot rkund the place. And not that safe either. Second issue leaving offensive names e.g " X is gay" on the scoreboard. NOT cool....

Booking and registering online was a breeze, however when we got there, it wasn't until 15 minutes after our booking time we even started to move things along, I'd suggest being more strict on late comers. I have suspicions that the helmet hygine might need some improvement as they smelled and I noticed someone put my exact helmet on after I had put it back. No sanitizing between uses? gross. The racing is a blast, but the kart maintainence is questionable, my kart died several times after being knocked into and it took 45 seconds for a staff member to notice one of those times. We paid for 30 minutes of riding and did not get 30 minutes of riding. We got 28 minutes, just a bit dissapointing, every minute counts. Attached a picture of the riding time.
