My recent visit to Gumdrops left me disappointed due to the poor service I received. As a regular customer, I expected a level of familiarity and respect, but unfortunately, that was not the case.While ordering four cups of coffee, I was met with an unexpected display of rudeness from the staff. Instead of taking my order politely, the server responded with anger, questioning my request. This unprofessional behavior not only shocked me but also made me question the quality of service at Gum Drops. Dropping down a couple of stars since my original 5 star review, as the prices have gone up and quality down in the last 12 months. Three times in a row now my banoffee has had a thick base, loads of cream but very little caramel or banana. The favourite flavours are rarely in stock, and there seems to be less love and care going into the desserts. A shame, as they were a real family favourite.

EDIT Jan 2025: Back up to 5 stars! Tried the desserts again recently and they were just as good as they used to be. Also the chocolate strawberries over summer were the best I’ve had...

A gem for affordable desserts that taste like home. The banoffee pie, strawberry cheesecake and lemon meringue pie are our top favourites. We often get two desserts for $20 and it covers us for x4 portions. The staff have excellent customer service; friendly and efficient. The place is always clean, bright and colourful. The coffee can be a bit hit or miss, depending how you like your coffee. They do really well catering to dietary preferences like vegan and gluten-free. We're keen to try the drive-thru version in...
