Buyer beware. They sell short dated and expired products with no qualms despite the fact some of those products can make you sick. I wish I had read the reviews before I went to this store. Otherwise I would not have bothered. I bought a novelty processed cheese product for $23 and had almost bought another box that had a best before (bb4) date of September 2023 - 7 months ago!! I had to go through the entire pile of the cheese I had to wanted, only to find the freshest version was over two months past itās bb4 date. So I didnāt bother with that flavour and went for the original flavour. But same problem - I had to trawl through several boxes to find a box that was at least three months before its bb4. I then told the guy at the checkout that the one flavour I was actually after was all past itās bb4 and heaps of the other and he just shrugged his shoulders. Seriously??? Regardless of whether you were buying stuff that was pre or post the bb4 the price was unchanged ar $22 or $23 a 450g box dependent on the flavour, so not cheap. At least shops like Reduced to Clear reduce their prices when products are out of date so the buyers know, not make it the purchaserās problem to buy a product at full price and the stuff is expired. Poor form!!...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreAbsolutely shocking. Tried to fob me off when their courier lost my package and said it was down to covid staff shortages, even though I had pointed out that tracking hadn't moved since it was picked up so it had clearly been left somewhere or lost. After expressing my disappointment in their response to the situation there were a few days of back and forth emails where they just clearly didn't read anything I wrote so I requested they redirect it back to them and give me a refund because it was just getting ridiculous. Then I had to contact them again because they refunded me incorrectly. I did get an apology a week after I requested the refund but that was a bit late by then. I can't comment on the product obviously because I never received it. Absolutely disgusting attitude and zero customer service skills. All they had to do was contact the courier to see what they could find out. Not...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreI tried some cheese crackers and they tasted rancid. Binned them. Then I got sick eating the cheetos. I was confused until I saw the "best buy" date is 12/25/22 for the cheese crackers, and the cheetos are "guaranteed fresh until 28/02/2023"...Please be careful buying from these people, they take advantage of the fact it's not illegal to sell food past it's best-by date. Just because it's legal doesn't mean it's safe, and you can't always rely on your sense of smell to not eat stuff that's gone off. If you go in, you need to look at the dates yourself. If you get it delivered, it's at your own risk. Personally I'm not going back after getting sick from their food but if you're gonna go there's...
