Coffee Nation — Restaurant in Hamilton

Multiple bits of plastic wrap in pumpkin soup. Took it back for replacement or refund and was told "That happens sometimes as we wrap the soup in plastic wrap and you have to bring back the bread" I ate the bread first and found the plastic while chewing after consuming about 70% of the soup. I asked for a single slice of toast with avocado as a replacement but was told "That's too expensive" In the end had to argue about possible health risks as I may have consumed some small bits of plastic in which they then offered a full refund. The price was $17.43

Terrible customer service. At the least, a replacement meal, voucher or full refund should have been offered at the start. Stating that they know they have issues with plastic in their soup is atrocious as it's a food...

Coffee Nation is amazing! Absolutely stoked that they are my local. The food is always fantastic, check out the cabinet for some unbelievable prices. The menu is extremely diverse offering everything from pizza and burgers to fresh salads and Thai curries, I honestly challenge you to find anywhere else in Hamilton with more quality options than Coffee Nation. Attentive friendly service, they make you feel very welcome. I highly recommend stopping in, it's just around the corner from the base parking lot, so could be a great option if the base...

Rude customer service from one staff member today. My husband went to order a coffee at the till and paused as he noticed there were different sizing on two separate menus, one saying medium, one saying regular, the staff member (who we wondered was the owner) said she hasn’t got time to “stand around all day”. She then proceeded to literally shoo him to sit down. Uncalled for and her manner was very rude. Covid has effected so many cafes and some are struggling. I’d much rather support a cafe that prioritises customer service....
