I recently visited Woolworths on Te Rapa Road in Hamilton, NZ, and I was really impressed with how well the store was organized, particularly when it comes to the daily needs items. From the moment I walked in, I noticed how easy it was to navigate the aisles and find exactly what I needed. The store layout is well thought out, with everything from toiletries to household essentials arranged in a way that made shopping a breeze.
The daily essentials section was especially well-stocked and neatly arranged. Items like cleaning products, toiletries, and personal care goods were all in one area, clearly labeled and easy to find. I was able to quickly grab items like dishwashing liquid, paper towels, and toothpaste without any hassle. The shelves were organized by brand and type, which made finding the right product quick and simple.
I also appreciated the wide selection of pantry staples. The pasta, canned goods, and snacks were organized in a way that made browsing easy, and there was an ample amount of stock available, so I didnāt have to worry about items being out of stock. It was clear that the store focused on ensuring that customers could find everyday items without difficulty.
Another aspect I noticed was the great availability of bottled drinks, pet food, and other household necessities. The storeās arrangement made it easy to pick up everything I needed in one go, saving me time.
The checkout experience was smooth, and the staff were friendly and helpful. Overall, my visit to Woolworths Te Rapa was excellent. The storeās organization of daily needs items made it a convenient and stress-free shopping experience. I'll definitely return for my regular...

I am writing to raise a concern about a situation I witnessed about three months ago at your Te Rapa, Hamilton store. While at the checkouts, I observed a male supervisor publicly pulling aside young staff members and lecturing them in front of customers and other workers. He told the staff it wasnt directed at them but he needed to address issues such as staff members sitting down while working and reusing bags. During this, he called the the workers āunprofessional.ā I understand that this might not look like big issue but I personally found his behavior concerning and unprofessional. Addressing staff performance issues should be done respectfully and privately, not in a public setting where it can be embarrassing and demoralizing for the employees involved. At the time, I was so upset seeing this as they were mainly teenage girls being publicly shamed over a issue that wasnt their fault, at this I didnāt know how to speak up without also causing more attention to the situation. It has taken me some time to reach out as i was struggling to find the right words for this situation As a customer, it was uncomfortable to watch, and I feel it reflects poorly on the storeās management practices. Ā Ā Ā Read moreWent there today about 3:30pm with my daughters age 3& 5 who very much like to collecting those Disney tiles to do swaps. One staff at check out told me the event was finished at 2pm and she also said I did not spent enough so I didnāt get all tiles. Then I asked the service desk in very polite way to see if I still can swap those cards because Iāve been told on Friday by the Countdown staff that I can definitely swap it before end of the week, but she didnāt tell me itās finished this Saturday at 2pm!!! One Countdown staff by the service desk blamed me for not noticed a poster on the window with very unfriendly attitude!!! I may not 100% right but I donāt think the staff there today was very helpful and kind. Especially they treat a customer with very unprofessional way in front of two young children. Also we collected 86 those cards between my two girls by shopping there by ourselves since Countdown launched this collection, this is equal about $2600.00 , and they still told me that I didnāt spend enough in this shot time! What a poor service, I will definitely spend more money at Pak n Save & New World in the future. Thanks again for disappointing my children...
