Karori Swimming Pool — Attraction in North Island

The poor attitude of the administrators of the Monday(4/Mar/2024) 3:40 PM beginner swimming class should not happen in a community like Karori. My three year old daughter was very interested in your beginner swimming lesson on Monday at 3:40 pm, and the course leader was very unfriendly and told us that there was no space at this time, and asked us to stay away from the segregation line of the swimming lesson. My daughter played with two small toys from the swimming lesson, and she immediately asked my daughter to return them to the teacher, I am sure that the teacher no longer needs the toys to teach the lesson. I was impressed when visiting the new Karori Swimming Pool for the first time by the modern well designed building as well as the actual pools and water slide. I would describe the enclosed tubular water slide as being relatively of modest size. I noted that there seemed to be off road car parking that would be adequate for a local suburban pools facility on most days. I also noted that the opening hours were from 6.00 am to 9.00 pm, except on public holidays, obviously catering for working patrons of the facility. The pool facilities in itself are really great and we go there all the time but have been trying to organize swimming lessons for my son here and had a date a simple quote needed to be sent by as lessons would of been funded and times set but the manager took more than 6 weeks to communicate via email and knew this, the time has passed now and she didnt even bother to sort it out properly as a couple of phone calls would of sorted it quickly. Seems alot or places don't want to talk on the phone nowadays and emails take alot of back and forth. She didn't even care and now my son can't take lessons as I can't afford them. Poor...
