Really would have loved to park here with our motorhome for the night where there use to be free parking but they have banned us altogether so instead of us walking up to Taupo township and spending our hard earned money we have gone to the NZMCA PARK and won't be spending any money in Taupo.

Great place to relax. Nice harbour. Sea shore is clean as usual. Cute flocks of ducks roaming around the area. Oblivious of the humans around them which don’t harm them anyway. This is the area where you can buy tickets for boat rides to see Lake Taupo. Awesome. Must visit when in Taupo.

Beautiful scenery at this little boat harbour. Very busy at times too.
