Levin TOP 10 Holiday Park — Attraction in North Island

Initially I contacted regarding long stay options and was told that nothing was available. I then informed the person I spoke to that we would really only need 2 weeks stay until alternative arrangements were made. Names were taken at this time and I was advised that there was a 4 day maximum stay policy. I found this odd, considering a friend of mine stayed their not long ago for 2 weeks on holiday and another friends mother stayed for 1 week, but had the option to stay longer. So got 2 other friends to enquire about the same time period. Both friends were told that they could pay week by week and stay up to 2 weeks maximum.... They then had it explained why there was a 2 week maximum stay policy, during which negative comments were made both times regarding the homeless. So I went online to booked and paid for 2 weeks of accommodation. Only to have it cancelled with an email telling me that I was told 4 days maximum and that everything I booked and paid for was to be amended to the 4 days only. I have since cancelled and will not be recommending any more of my friends or their family members stay here in future. This Holiday Park is absolutely amazing and a credit to the owners Repi and Debbie. We originally planned a 3 night stay but extended it to a week as we had such a great time. As my 10 year old said, “Dad this is the best holiday park ever, ” and I wholeheartedly agree. Everything about this park is perfect and we honestly couldn’t have asked for more. The giant pillow for the kids normally deflates at 7.30pm. New years night was different and thank you to Repi and Debbie’s son, as because there were so many kids , he suggested that the pillow should be re-inflated. It was, and kids played for another 3 hours. Absolutely brilliant and a nice touch. The parks cleanliness , the showers, the kitchen, the laundry, games rooms all perfect in every way. Walk in customer.. kind and helpful receptionist.. n chill az.. awesome..!! decent price 4 location under 100 ok. Comfy room.. bit stuffy.. but hot day.. no cooling system.. Was unable 2 get the tv working and the wifi.. which was really Annoying.. the drawers are dirty dusty with some spillage in..and the 4 spoons in drawer looked as if they had been licked n wiped.. then just left.. old milk spill had been left on the bench.. bit yuck.. i cleaned up most of it with the cleaning cloth n wayer etc from the kitchen..also lots of dust above head part of the large bed. Great room 4 heaps of ppl tho as 4 bunks and lots of chairs n bench to sit at.. great area right by the lil play area.. I'd say (as a cleaner myself) check yr rooms at least weekly..n dust regularly..
