Mangawhai Activity Zone — Attraction in North Island

Wow.. where to begin, The skatepark is the crowning glory although the space as a whole is amazing, especially if you have children of any ages. From Walking tracks to picnicking on the grass, or play a ball sport there is masses of room to kick a ball etc on the sports field, there is a flying fox and adventure playground, tennis court, two differing pump tracks for scooters, bikes, skateboards etc(really fun😃) there are clean pleasant toilets on site, also free Bbq and all within 5 mins of the local shops and stunning beaches. Activity zones like this are an absolute asset to any community, well done Mangawai...

Very good playground for all ages. Shaded. Picnic tables, coffee shop, on Saturday fresh bread sold from a van. Amazing skatepark and pump track. There is also a gym for adults. We spent 2hrs there exploring the Zone with our 2.5y old. It was fun morning and will be our stop when we next back. It is still under development, but it is already great...

Love it - it’s a kids dream play area and it’s free. We found this place driving into Mangawhai heads. I wish we had places like this where I live. Everything is free except the cafe.
