Beautiful calm beach for swimming in summer. Dog friendly beach. Parking and toilet available. I think you can get here in a bus too. Watch sunset and sunrise and ferries go by. Some people were also casting fishing from roadside and wharf. There is a 4 Square supermarket and restaurants nearby too. Worth visiting.

Just a little bit down from Days Bay. Not as crowded as other beaches nearby, and there is a playground and a bbq and toilets there too. Not a sandy beach, but mostly rocks and shells. Great views though. Heaps of people come here to kayak and jet ski.

Best easy beach walk in the region with safe walking, children's play areas, cafes and pebble beach. Well sign posted for walkways and rules for dogs. Overall a safe place to be

Lovely beach at Eastbourne. Right next door to the main shopping centre. You can go for a stoll along the beach or have a swim in summer even. You can also take a walk out on the wharf to enjoy the views, maybe do a spot of fishing? Relaxing and away from the crowded streets of Wellington. I highly recommend you go for a drive to...

Rona Bay is just one bay away, south-west from Days Bay in Eastbourne, with a beautiful but smaller beach area, along Marine Parade. It is popular with the locals viz. strollers, dog walkers, joggers and families as is the wharf with its namesake, which is located next to the Murutai Yacht Clubhouse at the bay's...
