Few weeks ago, my adult daughter took her younger sibling for jump at your new outlet.
They however had jump socks from Manukau Branch where they usually frequent.
Your customer service rep declined outright that no jump sock from another outfit was acceptable, and they had to buy another pair at $2.50.
I found out later from another reviewer that socks could have been exchanged at time of admission payment for nil fee.
$2.50 is not a lot of money. But if 100 customers face similar issue in a week, then that is a cool $250 for the company.
On 2nd occasion today, I took my son for jump.
We arrived and paid at 1210pm. We got told this was for one hour. I asked if that meant till 110pm. I was informed that unfortunately it meant exit time would be at 1pm as sessions run by the hour. I was given a choice to wait till 1pm to make entry (and therefore have a full 60 minutes for the one hour payable fee) or pay another admission fee totaling 2 hours (but usage to be at their standard of 1 hour and 50 minutes).
So what happens to the 10 minutes that customers like me have paid for but don’t get the benefit to use....? Has the business considered pro rata payments perhaps for clients whose arrivals are not on the hour?
Admittedly this is your business and you make the rules. And maybe this is a wake up call for a customer like me to read online terms and conditions before opening my wallet.
You have a beautiful arena and a reasonably clean and tidy environment.
No doubt my son enjoyed on both occasions, and I thank you for that.
I sincerely hope customers are given better consideration going forward. Wishing you success in...
Read moreYesterday we paid entry fee for 50 children & adults to supervise for a holiday programme. We bought 3 back to back sessions. We bought a fair share of iceblocks & children sent with money purchased what they could afford with from parents. After our company forked out all this money at Takanini Jump & 3 hours of jump to the point an adult felt unwell, out children begged & we let our children eat their lunches packed by parents.
This facility has been the ONLY facility all holiday (Jan 2021) who has REFUSED our children TO EAT on their premises after paying for their service. The manager told us the children were not to eat their healthy lunches on site. No advertisements are shown at the facility. No rules like this were outlined to us when we arrived and introduced ourselves to the manager. She was rude to me & her OWN staff memeber in front of me during our conversation.
I’m very disappointed that this person who essentially works at a facility that encourages children to be active would deny them basic needs such as food. I understand the need to make a profit at the shop, however some children have dietary requirements for their health, cultural reasons and ect that your shop doesn’t cater for. This is the very lowest sort of care & very profit focused. We spend a great deal on our children to enjoy the holiday. This experience was jaw dropping that a parent/member of public advised I leave this review.
Change your manager, she’s killing your business...
