Cafe Club & Bakery — Restaurant in Papakura

My partner and I had a late lunch date there this afternoon, and the service was great, staff were very friendly but the highlight for us was the food. I ordered the Salmon eggs Benedict and it was delicious 😋 Everything was cooked perfectly and the pesto was👌🏿 My partner ordered the Bacon and hashbrowns with mushroom sauce and a poached egg, and she too said it was delicious. I wanted to post my video but unfortunately, I am not able to.

Great place to dine at 👏🏿 In fact, we took our plates to the counter and also gave our compliments to the chef, to which the owner I believe, gave us some complimentary doughnuts to go. Fantastic 🙂

Love the scones here but not the service. I got a scone and donut from here and the lady said it came up to $9 I had a puzzled look on my face because how can it cost that much? She seen me and said "oh here free donut for you" she only did that because I was about to question her. Is it worth losing a potential loyal customer over a $1 or 2?? Food is nice but standard scrambled eggs and toast is not worth the price. The size would feed a five year old. Also, the lady seems to be more friendly towards European people than brown people. Seems to be a common theme amongst cafes in Takanini. Quite sad really, considering a customer is a customer no matter the skin colour or nationality.
