Bruce Pulman Park — Attraction in Papakura

Great place to come if you like sports, staying fit or simply walking around the park for these people there is a good walking path. I calculate the full loop to be around 4000 steps.

Cleanliness; In the morning, the park"s staff work tirelessly to pick up rubbish, broken glass, which lazy people leave behind. Only thing I noticed - no toilet paper in the public toilet, and the showers were locked

X- factor; people are friendly and say 👋. Lots of indigenous plants and trees, duck pond with cute ducks, pukeko grazing on the field.

Value for money; free to walk around, and use the park, shoot some hoops, There is also indoor netball court and gym 🏋️‍♀️ 💪.

Overall, this is a clean, well managed, family oriented park.

We arrived incredibly early and didn't even have to ask if there was a room ready, the receptionist just launched into a search and offered us a change to a room that was ready. The little welcome gift and drinks vouchers were very efficiently noted to the new room and arrived promptly. The hotel has a tram station practically at the door and the trains just across the road. The Fitzroy Gardens are a delight to wander through and give easy access to the city centre if you don't want to wait for the train or tram. The food was just delicious and the service wonderful and with the loyalty discount it was incredibly well priced. The room itself was amazing, very clean, fantastic views and very comfortable. We loved everything about the place and will be back whenever we go...

A large sports and recreation park containing many sports fields, a team sport centre catering to rugby, soccer and so on as well as cricket pitches including 2 artificial pitches along with practise nets, a netball centre with 6 indoor and 22 outdoor courts, a gymsport and rec centre, a large indoor sports arena and motor home facilities, including a dump station, automated toilets Note that only self contained vehicles are permitted. No freedom campers!
